Do you have a project that demonstrates public voice and engagement around AI that should be included in the PAVE Case Book?
The case book includes entries:
- Mapping engagement – showcasing outputs from dialogue, deliberation and participatory processes across the world.
- Describing methods – exploring approaches for inclusive, informed and impactful public participation on AI.
- Sharing learning and good practices – demonstrating how public voices can shape the future of AI.
How can you contribute?
If you have been involved in running or researching a public engagement project that explored the development, governance or use of artificial intelligence, anywhere in the world, we want to hear from you.
- Nominate a project that our research team should document
- Share a full case study of a project you have been involved in
What happens with contributions?
Submissions are reviewed by the PAVE Team.
- For nominations, we may reach out to ask you for more details, or may carry out desk-research to populate case study details;
- For full submissions, we will review your entry and suggest any editorial updates.
After submissions have been reviewed by the team, they may be included in the PAVE Case Book as:
- Mapping entries – providing basic Who, What, Where information about a public voice and engagement project
- Full cases – including more detailed information about the methodology and outputs from the project
- Featured cases – selected to represent a range of approaches and communities engaged through public engagement on AI
If your submission is not included, we will write to let you know.
The PAVE Case Book forms a part of the Citizens' Track on AI, and we will be seeking opportunities over the coming year to showcase examples of public engagement from the case book – and to carry out analysis and synthesis of messages from included cases. This builds on a prototype showcase of the PAVE Case Book at AI for Good 2026.
